Relocating to the Catawba Valley? Read this first.

Moving is hard. Moving to a place you don't know yet is harder. Here's the framework Ashley uses with every relocation client.

Rent-first vs buy-first

If your job or lifestyle in the Catawba Valley is still finding its shape, a 6-month rental beats a rushed purchase. If you know your commute and your community, buy.

The neighborhood shortlist

Pick three: a "head" choice (data-perfect), a "heart" choice (feels right), and a "wild card." Tour them all. The winner surprises most people.

Cost of living

Property taxes, utilities, insurance, HOA fees — all real. Ask for a full monthly-carrying-cost estimate before you fall in love.

The one common mistake

Assuming "the same square footage" means the same house. Lot size, walkability, and finish quality vary hugely block to block in the Catawba Valley. Trust the tour, not the spreadsheet.

Landing here? Ashley would love to be part of it.
